Question What have you scrapped lately?

I haven't been able to get any scrapping done, but I DID get some major organizing of my scrapbooking gear done this weekend!

Part of what my DH got me for Christmas was a bag, and smaller organizing bags/folders, etc. to give all of my scrapping paper, tools, diecuts, cutting system, stickers, in-progress pages, and more a home. I was FINALLY able to scale down my several bags and piles of scrapping stuff into TWO bags! Woohooo!!

Now that my gear is organized, I can plan out my next layout and start scrapping again!

Oh I so hear you! the last time I actually scrapped a page was at the tail end of October or the beginning of November. I have some serious catching up to do, especially since I took a crazy amount of pictures at Christmas-time!

I've been planning out my future scrapping plans this week, because my best friend is going to stop being a CM Consultant (she just can't keep up with their $$ minimums), so I'm planning out the stuff I want her to get for me while she still can! I'm ordering a few albums, some school days pages, and... now I forgot the other one.

The albums I'm ordering will be: one book for catching up on the years as a family before 2003 (when I started scrapping - I'm going to do a quick review of each year), one book for next year, and one book that I'll do as 'School Days' where I'll keep track of all three kids' school pictures and accomplishments

Oh I forgot! I got a lot of my photos organized last night and I'm going to work on the rest tomorrow. I went through a bunch of old photos and organized them by year and by season, and put them in order in my photo storage boxes (the ones made by Rubbermaid). I've been slowly working on these at night, since Dh is on the night shift and I've been having trouble sleeping lately when he's gone.

Next I'm going to pick one event and start laying out the page spread. I'll do that by counting the number of pictures I have for that particular event (Easter egg hunt, etc) and then refer to Becky Higgins' Creative Scrapbooks for layout ideas based on the number of photos. I LOVE that book!! Best money I spent since I started scrapping!

I've been doing cards lately because they're quick, fun, and my secret sister at church just loves them! However...

I'm going to scrap night at a friend's house on Tuesday! I'm soooo ready to do some pages and have some fun!
