Talking there's a new scrapbook store a mile from my house

And I've been dying to go there.  One had just opened across town a few months ago, but, this one is literally just about a mile from my house.  It's much bigger, it serves fancy coffee, AND it has an enclosed play area in the middle of the store where you can leave little ones, but still have them in your sight as you shop.  It's awesome!

I was pretty good.  I bought several sheets of 12x12 paper for the new 2005 album I'm starting, a metal tag for the front cover, some clearance frames for my house album, and some alphabet stickers.  I spent $11.xx, which I thought was pretty good-- I could have spent a lot more!

Just wanted to share... it was a fun morning for me!

Well. There's your exercise and budget plan all at once: walk to the store -- and don't buy more than you can carry home!

If I carry DD, I'd get more exercise. If she wears a backpack, I'd get more carrying room. Hmmmmm......

    NO BACKPACKS! NOT ALLOWED!

I don't dare take a backpack on my walk to the grocery store...although I once called DH to bring the car to carry home my bargains!
