    Default Whatcha workin on?

Last night I made a 8 pg scrapbook, complete with journalling, matted pics, and a decorative cover.
Kept me out of trouble. Nothing special, just a variety of shots from around the house, nothing that invlved people.

    What are you up to?

I am working on trying to get my doggone room organized so I can actually MAKE something. We moved rooms around and of course, now my bonus room and guest room are depositories until I can get everything sorted out.

I am mailing my house book (put it in a blue mailbox today) to my mom for safe keeping. when the kids are all grown up, I want them to see what our home looked like when they were little. My brother has a fireproof safe that it'll go into until they are older. Kinda like a time capsule idea. BUt that's all i have gotten done. I might go out to hobby lobby tomorrow to get more paper and stuff. Sometime this week for sure.

I've got a small scrapbook project all planned out- a handmade album, the paper, pictures and goodies are all picked and ready to go. I just need to do the journaling for each page but I'm dragging my feet. It's of a trip we took the kids on to Vancouver, BC many years ago. I shouldn't have waited so long to journal ... it's not that I forget the trip, but I need to remember to do my journaling when events are fresh in my mind. It would be a lot easier!!

Working on currently - nada, zero, zip, zilch lol

Projects to be completed - ds's album, dd's album, ds2's album needs started. dh's military album....... on and on

Plus sometime I have to go through the old albums I got from my step-mom. I have tons of pictures of me when I was little and they are in those dreaded "magic" page albums that we all used to use. Not sure if I will be able to salvage anything or not.

Currently my kitchen table is covered in stacks of paper and vacation photos from July... I thought if I did those pages of my family album now, while the memories are fresh, it would be easier. Then I have to go back and finish February through July-- various events-- in the family album for this year. Lol. My plan was to keep up with it each month, but, obviously, that hasn't worked out.

I am in the process of creating a workspace in the spare bedroom upstairs. I have the space and the card table up there, but, now I have to get my supplies somewhat organized. I'm tired of digging through boxes to find what I want!
