Take Better Pictures~~Lesson 1~~7/20/02
Hi all! I got this idea from another message board and thought it may help us all. I have been searching the internet and found a couple of really helpful sites, so pretty much all of the info has been taken from www.smartdraw.com/resourc...ctures.htm and www.kodak.com/US/en/nav/takingPics.shtml

Take better Pictures~~Lesson 1~~Get Close
One common mistake we often seem to make when we are taking pictures is not getting close enough to our subject.
When you put the camera to your eye, ask yourself if what interests you is prominent in the viewfinder. If not, move closer or zoom the lens tighter to make it a larger part of the photo.
Get Close
Your subject is interesting, so get close to it. Don't let your pictures suffer from the "Grandma at the Grand Canyon" syndrome, with a tiny subject and lots of boring, irrelevant space.
