    Default scrapbooking geneology information...

I want to do something with all my geneology information.

but I have no idea what to do!

there are some pictures, but a lot is written. I do have one coil book with aobut 100 pages to incorporate too.

I'd like to do something neat so that I can put it on a shelf and people will look at it!

    i do have one idea...

Not quite a scrapbook, but a way to keep all the stuff together neatly and attractvely.

you take a box such as this http://cgi.ebay.com/GOSSAMER-WINGS-P...QQcmdZViewItem
or a box and album set like (obviously youd find one that fit your purpose..) : http://cgi.ebay.com/Bowling-Bonanza-...QQcmdZViewItem
and a matching album you can put all your photos, some documents into the album and some unfinished work into the box. the album could lean on the box on a mantle or a shelf. Easy to add to the box as you come up with more info or even momentos. An album with a frame on the front would provide a focal point to let the viewer see a glimpse of what's inside...that might draw people to ask and therefore encourage peopl to see what you have worked on.

I sure discarded 4" Black binders my sisters bank was throwing away. I made up one for each family name have 8 now. Into each album I put clear pocket pages. Each notebook is broken down into chapters by couples. Each chapter goes from birth to death order. With photos in the proper age areas.
We picked up cheap frames at yardsales and have copied photots at Staples for a buck and hung them in our long hallway. Our hall of fools we call it. But everyone wants to know who's who and comments on how much the women on my mother's side all look alike and the men on my Dh side all are bald.
