Smile Anyone working on anything lately?

I organized my scrapbooking stuff the other day which started those creative juices flowing again. Today I made 3 very simple Thank-you notes and completed a double page scrapbook spread, and two single pages (well, one new and fixed an old one). I have GOT to get some more pictures printed up at Wal-Mart or somewhere. I just don't have enough to complete pages! So, anyone else working on anything?

I am always working on s scrapbook. The one I am doing right now is one of two I am doing to document our most recent trip to Disney (December 06). This one is using only the photographs taken by the Disney photographers (they have a program called photopass where their photographers take your photos all over the 4 Disney parks and they are loaded on a disc that you can purchase and then print any or all of the pictures yourself) My disc had 79 photos of us. I just started this book last week so I have only completed about 8 pages that contain 17 pictures of the 79.
After I finish this book I've got over 300 pictures that we took on the trip to put in another book.
These two books should keep me busy for about six weeks.

Let's see...the girlie(11) got a neat scrapbook kit as a Christmas gift, then she dug out my stuff I haven't used since she was a wee, wee babe. So we've been scrapbooking together lately, very coolie

I've also been crocheting an afghan for awhile now and am close to finishing it. I've made it for my Grandma and hopefully I can deliver it in person. (She lives about 2 hours away) When I finish it, I want to start one for my husband next.

I love crocheting in long winter evenings--I sit beside that husband o' mine n watch tv n talk....coolie way to occupy my hands, it is!

I am working on my Christmas Scrapbook. We moved into our new house in October of 2004 and I got a scrapbook to do all the Christmases we have in the new house.

Well, I just got some of my craftroom cleaned up and I need to make a birthday card so that will be the newest thing to do. I decided to start a 2007 scrapbook for both of my daughter-in-laws that I will give them for Christmas 2007. I better start printing out January's pictures. I have been trying to clean up the house since the new year and that has put me behind in scrapbooking.

I just got a new book that gives over 100 different card ideas. I'd like to sit down and pick out the ones that I want to do and then actually DO THEM! I also need to make my Valentines day cards.

I'm just now getting all of my scrapbook supplies organized since we moved into the new house in October and then getting through the holidays which were super busy here at home and church. Hoping to start maybe next week actually doing some layouts that I have had in my head for some time now. Yep, I know what you mean. Organizing the supplies gets the ole creative juices flowing again. LOL, it also makes you want more supplies. lucky for me, I received quite a few Walmart gift cards, so I'm not spending my money.

My oldest grandson will turn 5 next month, so I think I will make him a CD birthday card. I received a CD from People PC online yesterday in the mail and I will recycle it into a cute card for him.

Update: The last thing I did was a mini-scrapbook for Philip's birthday. It was 18 pages. I titled it "30 Things I Love About You". It didn't use a lot of pictures but I had fun using my scrapbook stuff like stickers, die cuts, etc. to make each page special. I think he really liked it.

Now I REALLY have to suck it up and get a bunch of pictures printed. I seriously cannot finish anything without other pictures to "complete" the pages.
