I shop Oriental Trading online for brads and eyelets.

Dollar Tree for 12x12 paper (6 sheet packs I think), stickers & punches. Michaels runs lots of sales (larger paper packs 25/40 sheets 8x10 maybe 12x12).

I never buy stuff unless it's 50 percent off at Hobby Lobby. Does Dollar Tree have any scrapbook stuff? We're getting a Dollar Tree in our town.

Dollar Tree has some really good scrapbooking stuff. I also get some really good stuff on sale at Target and at Big Lots. In Canada I shop at Dollarama and A Buck or Two. Michael's Arts and Crafts rarely has sales low enough for me to buy there. I have gotten some really good paper packs at WalMart.

Carolyn - Let me first say that this is one area where I tend to NOT be frugal (that and my starbucks addiction!!) Having said that, my best deals have been from ebay. Mostly stuff like fibers, and eyelets and brads and what-nots. I do watch for target clearance stuff, and have found some decent deals over the years. But you are talking to a gal who scraps in Creative Memories books, so for me, I tend to not be too frugal in this dept
when I DO want to be frugal - it's hobby lobby half price for me!

I would say 90% of my stuff comes from Hobby Lobby and A.C. Moore.

The clearance section of Walmart, Target, Michaels, Hobby Lobby. I go to Dollar Tree and always ask for gift cards to scrap stores.

Oh, I hear ya loud and clear, LOL. I do look for bargains where I can find them, but will and do spend big $$ more than I'm willing to admit most times. I think for me it's the thrill of the hunt, especially when I come across a really good deal.

Good thread! I recently started Scrapbooking but haven't looked around enough to know where I can get things frugally. Thanks for starting this one!

This relates to the "bonus question" I posted on my Sunday Scrappin' bloggers' meme. Great minds think alike!

Anyways... my supplies mostly come from Big Lots (especially paper), Target's Dollar Spot (just got great ribbon there yesterday), Michael's dollar bins, the Dollar Tree, and the dollar bins at a local craft store.

Hi girls, I get mine from the Dollar Tree, Big Lots and when I get to Pennsylvania I stop at Ollies. It is similar to Big Lots but bigger. I try to hit deals at AC Moore and sometimes markdowns at Target. I have made a resolution not to buy anymore scrapbooking stuff until I use most of mine up. I could open a store with all of the stuff I have. I have been trying to organize all of it besides my rubberstamping and cardmaking supplies. Oh what a job I have ahead of myself. Rock on scrapbookers.

I shop alot of the same places as y'all do...
    hobby lobby's 50% off sales
    JoAnns craft store
    Target
    Dollar Tree (favorite)
... but my best score was at a flea market last summer.... an entire laundry basket FULL of 12x12 paper packs, stencils, partially used sticker packs, stamps and die cuts....I bargained with them and got it all for $5.00... yay me!!
