Default Went to a weekend scrapbook retreat!

I just got home a few hours ago. Hubby watched all three kiddos so I could go. It was with a CM gal around here. We were at a retreat center. It started at 5 on Fri and went till 6 on Sat. Meals were provided as well as snacks and goodie bags. I stayed up till 1:30 and then was back at it at 6:00. I got 23 pages done and I am almost done with our daughters book from our adoption trip to China in Nov of 2006..............
It was alot of fun, I love being able to do crops like this!

Glad you had a great time! I am taking a Bible study/scrapbooking class at our church. We meet once a week, and tonight was our last chapter. Next week we will show our finished books. We are creating a scrapbook of our faith journey as a legacy to pass on to our children and grandchildren. Each week's study takes us on a particular phase of the journey. For example, tonight's lesson was on forgiveness. We not only studied Bibical principles of forgiveness, but also created our pages about forgiveness in our own lives. We do a lot of journaling for this book. It's been a good experience and totally unlike any other Bible study or scrapbooking class that I have taken. But I think a retreat would be awesome!

I think (correct me if I am wrong) that CM means Creative Memories.

Do you live near an area that has SB stores? Alot of times the store will put on crops. I like those better, actually, but there are none very near me where I live now.
