Talking Today's Yard Sale Deals, 5/17

~Had a mishap and lost my $10 sunglasses but they really weren't that flattering to begin with so I guess someone else will enjoy them. I did pick up a summer floral robe, a purple corderoy handbag, 2 mini mailboxes for the kids, a pair of jeans, a tank top, a Pooh insulated lunch bag and an AWESOME vintage purse all for $2.75! Did you all find some cool stuff?~

I ventured out this morning. Lets see if I can remember what I bought. I took a picture and will post it on my blog Monday.

black leather briefcase for DH-really nice for $3
small end table/plant stand for living room $3
paint canvas-its painted for a child, but I'll do my own painting over it or turn it into a chalkboard-$2
    lampshade- .50
    Banana Republic sweater $3
    frog floor mat-$2
    glass jar- .75
    pants- .25
4 great quality stack trays $2

except for the floor mat, these are all things I would have bought anyway. DH just bought a briefcase at walmart for $20, but now he's taking it back. So, after that return we're breaking even.

No yard saleing today - its our towns annual Viking Fest and its a tourist nightmare - we aren't going any futher than the mailbox today!!

But did find some goodies yesterday:

Two Coldwater Creek 100% linen shirts (that fit me beautifully)
    One Worthington Stretch shirt
One "turbo" immersion blender (that works)

All for a grand total of $4 (oh - and the shirts were on nice plastic hangers and they came with!)

I hit the jackpot on girls size 8 clothes. I got 2 pairs of jeans, a jean skirt and a pair of jean shorts, all for a quarter each. Also got 8 shirts (including a new with tags sweatshirt). My total for the day: $4.50 yay!
