Did anyone go...
yard sale shopping this weekend? It was raining this morning so I didn't get out, but I went last weekend and got some good deals.
I got:

tiny table $3
4 stack trays (not the cheapo kind) $2
canvas (for future painting project) $2
glass jar (my favorite find of this trip!) .75
pants .25
Banana Republic sweater $3
Frog rug (this I didn't need, but it makes me happy) $2
lampshade (brand new) .50
I posted a picture of my finds on my blog... http://songbirdtiff.blogspot.com/200...-jayhawks.html

I didn't go this weekend... no car and no sales close by.
I won't have a car next weekend either, but I will have DD drag me up to the garden sale at the COA and the $5 bag sale at the Children's Orchard... on June 7th.... I need this time to mentally prepare myself for the hunt
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

No more STUFF allowed in my house. So no yard sale shopping for me.
I lead a simple uncluttered life.
But I have to say..... when I read your post... I was thinking..
Hey! wait! someone ELSE bought EXACTLY what you did!!!
and I see... I looked at your blog and saw what you bought last week. LOL! Silly me.
Great finds BTW!!

I ventured out to a few too. Here's my short list:
summery purse .75
2 tupperware storage containers .25 (total)
patriotic wall hanging .25
baby blanket .10
ice tea jug .25
tshirt for my son .25
Total: 1.85...oh yea, I'm a big spender!!
Then I was going by our one and only thrift store in the area and the sign on the door said 50 % off entire store. Welllll, it was pretty picked over but I found a pair of shorts for my son and a pair of jeans for him for the fall, .50 each!!
