    Default Went by Goodwill today

    I had several bags of things to drop off at Goodwill from our decluttering last week. Since I was there I decided to go inside and see if they had any decent comforters to add to our blanket supply for this winter.

    I spent $38 but got:

    ~ 2 twin comforters
    ~ 2 pairs of overalls and 3 shirts for DS for this fall
    ~ 2 pairs of shorts for me
    ~ 2 pairs of jeans for me
    ~ 1 pair cropped jeans for me
    *I've lost a lot of weight this past year and everything is falling off of me
    ~ 7 books to add to our homeschool library
    ~ 1 pair of barely used nike soccer cleats for dd8

    My MIL gave me some cash to spend on myself...so I did and still have a bit leftover to add to our savings.

    I did notice that they have a really nice supply of fall kid clothes out so I need to go back with dd8 to pick out some clothes for the fall/winter.

    Thanks everyone. I appreciate the congrats on the weight loss, but I don't deserve it. I wasn't over weight to begin with, I've just had a year chasing around a very fast & curious toddler, gall bladder disease - followed by emergency gall bladder surgery, and I just have not been able to put any weight back on yet. I dropped two pants' sizes and am tired of walking around hitching up my pants.

    Default visits hard to pass up

    Dropping thing off at the back door and driving around going in the front door go hand in hand.
    I recently got 27 vintage pieces for $18.00. I will use these to cut up for purses I make. This was a steal in my book. 11 of them were skirts that will last for ever just using pieces of them.
