Smile SO excited about thrift store finds!

I've been looking for a pair of shoes to go with a dress I bought on clearance for $6 (yeah!) at the beginning of summer. I have really big, wide feet, so that complicates things and the shoes needed to be either very light tan or white and they had to be of a style that would allow me to wear them with something other than the dress. I gotta get the biggest bang for my buck! I have shopped nearly every shoe store in the greater Charlotte area and came up with nothing- unless I was willing to pay $50 or more and that wasn't happening. Well, this weekend, I found the shoes at the Goodwill near my house for $3.49! They look like they've barely been worn and just need a few little marks removed.
I also bought a 'hippie' style skirt exactly like the kind my friend sells in her shop for $49- for $3.79! Same brand, never been worn. And to round out the trip I found a white, 100% silk top for $3.79. It was a good shopping day!

You did very well! Isn't it fun shopping at Goodwill? I stop there at least once a week.

You got some fantastic deals! Way to Go! And congrats on continueing to look for what you wanted instead of paying the high dollar prices.

I got to go on Friday morning to the thirft store and besides getting dh a pair of new Rustler jeans for $2.00 and me a Harley Davidson T-shirt for $1.00, I also got around 1000 pre-cut 4" squares to make a quilt. I love it when someone else has already done much of the work for me. LOL. Oh, the squares and some matching yardage of fabric cost me $5.00!

Great deals. Closest GoodWill for here is about 30 miles away. I don't get to go there often.
