    Default I Love Garage Sales

We went to pick up a monitor and computer steering wheel from a free-cycle person today. On the way back, we hit some garage sales.

At one we got - 3 ceramic bears (I collect teddies), a pack of flip flop candles (to make a Christmas gift), 8 ct plastic fancy cups, 3 pc cereal holders. We paid $1.10.

Next one, we got box that has 2 pks of Halloween lights and a HUGE blow up pumpkin with lights (one is out) - got these for my business Halloween party, a brand new Hamilton electric knife, and a almost new electric pancake maker (makes 4 at a time). We paid $6.

We stopped at 2 others but didn't find anything. We also got gas for $3.89 per gallon - almost everywhere else was $3.97.

So today we got a black computer monitor, computer steering wheel with 4 games, 3 ceramic bears, flip flop candles, 9 ct cups, 3 cereal holders, 2 sets of Halloween lights, BIG pumpkin with lights, Elec knife, and a pancake maker for - $7.10.

Oh yeah, we stopped by the bread thrift store and they had bread for 2/$2.99. She gave us a free one too. We ended up with 3 for $2.99.

    YAY FOR SAVINGS.

You definitely found some great bargains and found some great prices for gas and bread along the way. Good for you! BTW, we just picked up a free monitor today also from Freecycle. Must be Freecycle Monitor Day, LOL.

Awesome deals! I need to see if we have freecycle here.... I never hear anyone talking about it. I love garage sales though!
