Default A Thriftin' We Did Go...Hi Ho the Derrio, A Thriftin' We Did Go

Gripey wanted to go into the city today to watch a football game. I had no interest whatsoever but I had an idea. I called my best friend from 5th grade and asked her if she wanted to go thriftin' and she said 'heck yeah!'....so we did. Oh man did we have fun and hit the thriftin' jackpot at the first place we went. I spent some money b/c not all things were 'on sale' but I got all name brand stuff. Bill Blass, Talbots, Coldwater Creek, 20X (a brand of jeans), Lauren, Tommy Hillfiger, Susan Graver, Denimn & Co.....I think that's all. Anyway I got 10 pair of a combination of jeans, denimn capris, print capris, chambray gouchos. 11 very nice tops and 1 gorgeous yellow linen with cutwork capris and matching jacket. I spent $61 but $10 of it went for an old but fantastic wooden bucket ice cream maker.....so my clothes were 22 pieces for $51. I bought a couple of things at another place including a very nice, small, antique oil lamp for $7. Omg I had a blast. I have a whole new wardrobe for next summer. I love it when that happens!
