    Default Consignment Jeans, How Much?

What would you pay for jeans at a consignment store in your area? I need nice ones for work (mine are getting thin & faded). I do consider brands when I buy & will pay more for some (like new condition & good brand). I'm seeing prices $8 to $12. What do you think? I've been searching for jeans since the end of September (new & consignment) & have found only 2 pairs that fit. I did buy them, but I'm need at least 2 more. As far as the thift stores here, they have odd hours & require a special trip (not near me). So, I haven't looked there, but the prices are $5 & up. I haven't really priced new jeans in awhile, but $20 is the lowest price I've found since September. Any thoughts?

I just recently bought a pair of like-new condition Aeropostale jeans for $12. The prices in the store I go to range from $8-$20 depending on brand, style and condition. I have bought a pair of new Gap jeans for $18 that still had tags on and was $60 new. So, I really love my consignment store.

I love the jeans at Rue 21, and if you watch them you can get them on sale for $9.99!

I have the hardest time finding them that fit right. If it's the perfect pair I would pay almost any price.
I don't think 12 is unreasonable if they are a better brand and in good shape.

I recently paid 9.99 for a like new pair of Banana Republic jeans that I LOVE. I'm okay with 5.00-15.00 for good jeans in a brand I like and that fits me. I don't even look at Walmat jeans, etc....Id rather pay for a nicer pair of *used* jeans in excellent shape. I wear my jeans forever and nearly every day....I save a few of the nicer pairs for when I go *out* and change them immediately when I get home.

Anything under $20, new, gently used....I prefer to stay under $10 but will go to $20 if I'm desperate.

The prices in the thrift store I go to vary. Higher price jeans like aeropostle, american eagle, etc. are 7.95 a pair and regular jeans like faded glory, lei, mudd, are 5 per pair. They only take clothes that are in good condition.

I think $12 is reasonable if you like how they fit and are in good shape. Our thrift store has jeans for about $7.00, so far I have 2 pairs from there, but only 1 pair I really like. I have a hard time finding jeans & sometimes just end up having to go to the store and paying about $40, so if they are $12 and you like them, you probably should get them

I envy anyone who can go into a consignment shop/thrift store and buy clothes. Because I am a plus size chick who is only 23 I find it really hard to find clothes that fit and don't look like they are from the 1970's. In the same thought though I am not against thrift stores just can not find anything in my size. If I did and they were reasonably priced I would snap them up!

Egads. I hate to even pay the $7 for the jeans at my Goodwill, only 2 years ago they were $4 and now they are $7 and up!!!!!!!!!!! I need a good new pair as all of mine are now work jeans. We don't have any consignment shops around us. I'm honestly thinking of waiting until I have enough points and getting a Sears or JCPenny gift card to get a pair.

The other day I got a pair of jeans for 3.99. I was happy about that, but I would pay up to $12 if they fit.

I paid $9 once for jeans from a cosignment for DD because we saw the regular price of $40 and they were like new. Usually we only pay $4 or $2 at the Goodwill.

I bought a pair of Tommy Hilfiger jeans at the thrift store and I paid $8.
They fit perfect & they are now my favorite jeans.

It's hard to find jeans to fit. I am short & round. LOL

I usually hit Old Navy's jean sale when they are $15. Next time, though, I'm hitting the new resale shop and will hopefully find some better brands for about the same price. They range from $8-$50 for used jeans. ($50 is for the high end designer jeans that originally sale for around $150 or more)
