Default Had good luck at thrift stores/yard sales this month

Me and roommate have had pretty good luck at thrift stores and yard sales this month:

During one trip to Goodwill I got two skirts ... the peasant style /broomstick style longer-length skirts (a style I had been looking for ) ... one brown, one black ... both are fully lined and have sequin trim (which I will prob. end up removing since part of it is gone anyway) ... but they only cost $3.99 each!!

Went to Salvation Army another day and got a pair of brown velour sweat pants, a pair of black Denim and Company pull-on knit capri pants and a pair of black Denim and Company pull-on knit pants (reg. length) ... got them for $1 a pair ... WOW! 3 prs of pants for $3.00 !!

Went to Salvation Army in a neighboring town and everything was 1/2 off (this was the Sat. before Christmas). Got two angel figurines for a Christmas gift and paid 25 cents for one and 50 cents for another. I also found a long denim skirt which was marked $3.00 but got for only $1.50!!!

Roommate went to a yard sale this Monday morning ... he almost didn't stop because it looked like they had a lot of baby and kid's stuff ... but he did anyway. They had a glider rocker (decent shape but it does need refinishing or painting and the cushions were in decent shape too) for $10.00. I've been looking for one of them too !!

    Great finds!
My favorite jeans came from the salvation army. They are tommy hilfiger jeans exactly my size and they were $5. Woo hoo!

My sister goes to our Goodwill store and looks through everything. She knows all the high end brands like from Nordstroms and Saks. She finds things and then puts them on Ebay and makes a killing. I am no good at that stuff because I only know brands from Wal-mart and stores like that, but she does great. She has a good job, but likes to get her Ebay money on a debit card for her little stash of cash! I thought it was pretty smart.
