Yard Sale for DD's Haiti Mission
I'm planning a yard sald for DD15's mission to Haiti. I'm planning it for February, provided we have a nice weekend in Feb. We usually start having some nice days toward the end of Feb, so I'm hopeful!
Another thing we're doing is holding several "Parents' Nights Out" at our house. We're babysitting our friends' kids for donations for four hours. The donations go toward the Haiti fund.
Wish us luck. I'm proud that DD is willing to pay her own way. DH and I looked at the budget, and decided that she would have to be responsible for paying her own way. That's a lot of money for a kid to raise on her own, so I'm helping her hold several small fundraisers.Wife to Kevin: 20 years

Good luck! That's a big responsibility. You should be proud!

That's great. She will appreciate the trip even more when she gets there and realizes how good we have it compared to poorer countries. I hope she has a great time fundraising!
