The first thing I look for is cookie jars. I've collected over 100 and most for under $5.00. Then I go throught the gadget pile to add to my collection of cooking tools. Have a wonderful collection of flour shifters and rolling pins. I then check out the book pile. Cookbooks are another weakness and I carry a list of books I'm looking for. Aprons are a passion but only if priced right. Yarn for my moms knitting group.
I'm not a clothes are not my thing I live in jeans that I've had for ages and t-shirts.

I canīt resist retro childrenīs sheets and duvetcovers. I donīt even have children that age, but they remind me of my childhood in the seventies. I have found them very cheaply from thriftstores but people pay a lot of money for them on the internet auctions. I donīt sell them, though. I am going to do something with them, just donīt know yet what it is.
The other thing I am collectin for some new use are doilies, mostly vintage.
I also buy craft books and novels, sometimes childrens books. And clothes.

First I hit the wool/sewing pattern aisle. Then the books (cookbooks and crafts mostly), then the women's clothing. I can have a hit or miss day but it's fun either way!

Clothes, mainly for the grandkids...the little beggars grow so fast it makes little sense to buy brand new clothing for them except for special occasions like their birthdays & Christmas.

My first stop is housewares, I collect Pyrex patterns, so I'm always looking for those. I also look for Wilton cake pans.
Next is books! I almost always leave with several.
Then purses, I love them, but don't pay retail.
Finally clothes, sometimes I find something I like, but not often.
