Smile So I wanted a new purse...

Been jonesing for one, not that it matters I have a dozen of purses in my closet. I have gotten most of them at 2nd hand stores at great prices too. But I just had the winter-blahs and wanted a new purse. I had been looking on ebay for weeks at "designer inspired" purses and they do have some cute ones for $40ish, but I could not justify it as it was a want... not a need. So I went to the "good" Goodwill store near me and found a cute, art deco sort of decorated stylish purse for $1.99. Also has tons of VHS kids movies and will have to bring the grandson there to let him pick one out. So my "want" was satisfied for $1.99 and I have no regrets on blowing $$ I really shouldn't.
Then of course, as is my rule, I went thru my closets and packed some seldom worn clothing into a bag to give away, to keep the clutter to a minimum. Thrift stores are great!

Good for you! Can't beat a purse for under $2! I used to be that way...never able to get enough handbags. Now, I make them for a living, so I have a closet full of them for my next craft show! Basically, whenever I feel the need for a new one, I go grab one and use it for a day or two!
