Craigslist find
We have been looking for a smaller bed for DD's room. The one she has hadf in there was a hand-me-down from my grandmother's home after she passed away about 7 years ago and it is full-sized. DD's room is rather small, so it took up a lot of space. After monitoring Craigslist for a couple of weeks I found a twin size bed. It was in a guest room and never used. The lady who was selling it just got remarried and is moving into her husband's home.
The bed came with a headboard, frame, mattress, boxspring and all the bedding (including the pillows). She was selling all of it for $75. I didn't even try to talk her down, I figured it was already such a good deal. We brought it home and set it up in our DD's room and it looks great. In fact, the mattress and boxsprings are better than ours, LOL! I'm so excited about our deal. Here's a pic of the bed from the ad:~ Michelle
