    Default Small SA thrift find

I went to our SA thrift store yesterday. My aunt was working there and I needed to ask her something. So I figured since I was there I may as well have a look around.

I got a dress for DD for summer for about .75 cents (she loved it)

I got a pack of socks 10 pairs, ( NEW) for 2.50 (.25 cents a pair) for DS who is 5

I got 5 more Junior novels for DD who is 7, three of them were babysitter little sister books, one was magic school bus and I cannot remember what the other one was not, they were .25 cents each

I got a pair of jeans for me for 2.45

I got a nice red vest with a hood on it with a dinosaur on it for DS (18 months) for 1.00

So not too bad for 10 minutes in the thrift store lol.

Yeah I really like that feeling too. Tomorrow dd got dance in another community and I usually go to the thrift store there to see what I can get, hopefully I can find some more great deals.

Excellent deals for just a little money & time! I love saving both, but I tend to look for a while when I go. On my last trip I spent less than $2 (3 Easter tinkets & 2 books) & looked for 40 minutes. Its hard to beat those bargains though!

our SA store has a 1/2 price sale two times a year and it lasts for about a week and then they close the store down...get rid of every single remaining item...wash the whole store down top to bottom and then restock with all new stuff they have been hoarding....usually its insane the first day they open after the shut down....it will be interesting to see if they even have many donations to put out after this....

Thats the only thing we have in this community. But our community is really small about 1000 - 1200 people. In another community we go they have a goodwill and a sa store, and then where my daughter goes to dance they have a goodwill. So I try to have a look around sometimes.
