    Default Goodwill

I went to a couple of grocery stores today while my daughter was in dance class and when I was done I had about 30 minutes before I had to pick her up so I went to the goodwill in that community.

I got two books .50 cents each
Pair of girls pants (MINT condition) 1.00
Shirt for DD .75 cents (mary kate and ashley, very nice for summer)
Pair of jean capris for me (mint condition) 1.50

Good for you!! I love thrift stores LOL
I found a white small bird cage for a vine I'm growing, some material for a kitchen curtain, and a nice barn coat ( I still can't fit into my old one , but I'm working on it!)

You were lucky to find the stuff in mint condition.

Actually today there was a lot of stuff in there that was in really good condition if I had more time to look through it.

I love close-to-new finds as well! Once we had a lot of brand new crafting supplies at our Goodwill (either a store went out of business or a crafter cleaned her closet), and I scooped up some silk flowers and other cool stuff.

The GW's here are getting more and more expensive. I can buy at Sears or Penneys cheaper on sale it seems. SA prices are still low but selection is sparse. (sigh)

    You did good!

We picked up a few things secondhand today, too. Nothing really exciting, but I got some nice wine goblets for .75. I've started drinking ice water with meals to help me eat less, and I wanted some sort of fancy glasses for that. These are really nice heavy ones that should stand up well for everyday use.

Got a big bag of crochet thread in various colors for $4.

I bought a pasta salad cookbook for $2. I think it'll be a good one because it's low-fat, so most of the recipes don't mayo or other high-fat ingredients, so I'll have fun experimenting with that. Got a Mexican cookbook that looks interesting too, for .60.
