Default Goodwill color prices have an order

This may be old news but today i was informed by a really nice employee that the color that is on sale rotates in a spcific order.

    Blue
    Green
    Yellow

Today was yellow. So this whole week will be yellow.

Mind you, this is in MN. It may be different were you are from.

It also can not be just that store because on the days that i go shopping for groceries and such i pass by three goodwill's and they are always the same color.

After I went to that goodwill, I went to savers. They had the same color on sale. Thinking back, I realized that the color has matched goodwill's several times before. I'm not 100 percent sure, but perhaps they match their colors.

I've never seen my Goodwill put a certain color of tag on sale. Do all of them do this?

Mine does but it differs. I always seem to go in when they are having a 50% off blue tagged items and I can never find anything with a blue tag. My favorite is $5 for filling a grocery sack. It's been awhile since I've seen one of these sales and I'm sure the price has gone up but it would still be worth it.
