Smile My daughter very happy with her Build a bear finds at the thrift store

My daughter is extremely happy with her clothing finds for her build a bear.

She bought for her build a bear cat:
All official Build a Bear Brand (and they look new)
    a pair of shorts
    a summer top
a pair of sketcher Mary Jane/sneaker cross type shoe
a robe (matches the Pj's she already had for her cat)
a swim suit with a matching wrap
a beach tote with a beach towel and "suncreen"
a pair of sunglasses (the same style that Grandma had originally gave her with the cat but she had broken when she tried them on her own face)

    ALL for
for $3.99 (she spent her own money) The sunglasses alone sell originally for $4.00

The beach tote (with the towel and "suncreen") had the original tag still on it that said $8.50

What great deals for her! It just amazes me what things go for in price, though I have been guilty of paying for build a bear too, but none of my kids caught onto the craze.

    Red face

MommyBliss and cookiemom -- Oh new Build a bear can be pricey ,your right.
We don't have one near us but Grandma's town does and she wanted to do the build a bear thing with the kids. She took us there (her treat) and let both children make an animal and bought each one a complete outfit - shirt, shorts, underwear, shoes, and sunglasses.

When the cashier gave the total I actually let out a gasp. Yes, out loud. I was so embarrassed.

The next year when we were in Grandma's town I did buy both kids a pair of Pj,s for their Build a bear.

Both Build a bears have been a favorite stuffed animal of both children. On top of the bed by day, in the bed at night favorite.
