What are your best curbside finds?
Just curious about what everyone has found at the "Curbside Mall"?
My best find was two very nice wrought iron rocking patio chairs. The cushions were about worn out, but DH and I found cushions for them at Big Lots on sale and they are wonderful out on our deck. I have seen similar chairs that cost about $75 a piece.
I also found a huge wicker basket. The handle was a bit worn, but other than that it is in perfect condition. I cut the handle off, added a nice soft pillow and it is now my Jack Russell Terrier Spot's bed!

I haven't found any good curbside finds either...Hopefully as the weather gets nicer and people start "spring cleaning" then maybe I'll find something good!

My Mom called me last week and said her neighbor moved and they left a cute lil changing table at the curb. She wanted me to pick it up so she could use it as a gardening table. Grabbed it for her...pretty cherry wood color.
DS12 and I found an HP monitor a few weeks back.

Lots! The 'big' garbage (household items) is collected on the third Thursday of the month. Many people take an early morning walk / ride on that day to look for useful furniture, etc.
I've gotten: a swivel comfy leather chair, a small kitchen table, baskets, woollen blankets, a bread knife, etc. I've always cleaned everything properly, even taken the blankets to a professional cleaners'. Woollen blankets are rare and incredibly expensive now, so I was really happy with my find.

So far no curb side finds yet here. too cold I guess, lol
In the late spring , probably May , more people will be putting wood objects out or metal pick up days that we have.
