Today's garage sale finds

I spied a garage sale across the street from my patient today, and got the following deals:

1. Super Trucks Racing for Playstation2 (new in package)
2. Ford Racing 2 for Playstation2
3. Two new bars of Irish Spring soap in packages
4. A new t-shirt (with tags) for my DS

All for $4.50.

My DS was very excited about the games. He just bought a used Playstation2 from Craigslist with money he had saved.

Cute story: While at the same garage sale, the homeowner's daughter who was about 4 years old, had a little stand set up selling Rice Crispy treats and strawberry or blue raspberry lemonade. As I was looking through all the items for sale, she approached me numerous times, letting me know that she had "blue" or "red" lemonade for sale. I told her that I would buy something from her, but I had to get my money out of my car, to which she replied," No you don't have to get your money. I have money right here in my apron so you can buy some."

She was so cute. I tried to explain the advantages of having people pay her for the lemonade and snacks she was selling, but I'm not sure if she understands the concept of free enterprise quite yet.
