My thrift store finds
My best find yet (IMO)! I found a 18"x36" copy of [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Blue_Boy"]The Blue Boy[/ame]. I LOVE this portrait. I'd love to find a Pinkie too. My grandmother had a HUGE copies of both, but they were lost in a house fire (as was she). I have two small copies, but I'd love to have matching big copies of both. It was only $5!
I also found FLY Fusion Math Multiplication & Division for $2. We don't have the FLY pen, but the booklet inside is great for learning multiple digit multiplication & division. It shows step by step instructions on how to do each properly. It had the FLY paper and the cartridge. All of it brand new & still sealed in the plastic. Maybe I can find the FLY pen cheaply some other time.

I love the Blue boy and Pinkie as well. I used to have a set of lamps that my sister made (ceramic) to go with my pictures.....
I wonder, where did those things get off to? WTG on your finds, sound like good ones.

Great job!

Great finds! I love the blue boy and pink lady. My grandmother had statues of each of them and I always adored them when I was little. Unfortunately they got broken (not by me...really!) but I did find a set at a garage sale one year and bought them. They remind me of her and I cherish them.

I had a set of brass wall plates with blue and pinkie. I sold them on ebay for $100.00
