Talking Consignment sale and bag sale

So excited!! Just got home from a day of "shopping". Our first stop was our school was having a "kids exchange" Which was a consignment sale...but if you went in the last hour they were open, stuff was half off! So I got some clothes for my son who is the oldest and doesn't have an hand me downs to wear...We got movies, Popsicle molds and the boys got some books and trading cards...all for 18 dollars, we filled a large bag with all that stuff.

Our next stop was at a local church..right on our street corner they were having an "attic sale"...again the last hour they were open, they were having a bag sale...$2 per bag(plastic shopping bag) but you could fill it with whatever they had in their large "meeting room", so I bough 3 bags for a total of $6. I got to cast iron pans, an orange juicer, some books, canisters to store my dehydrated fruits and veggies, a brand new curling iron(for work), the boys got some grab bags filled with little toys. I also got a well needed bread pan, and some water containers that I can fill to take to the gym or work, so I can drink more water, some pens my son got a little planner, my other son got a book, and I got some really cute little decorative cream and sugar containers, that were designer by the way(oscar de La renta). So excited...now I have to find room to put all my "new" goodies! My most exciting find though was those cast iron pans....I need to clean them up some and season them...but I can't wait to use them!

I'm sure I forgot some things...Like the board game my boys got as well...that kept them busy for an hour after we go home! I love those kind of sales!

Cannisters (old glass ones) and cast iron pans! Two things I should have added to my "want to find at a yard sale" list. Yay you!

Holy cannolli, you did great. You spent less for all of that than you would have if you bought just one pan in the store. Sounds like Christmas came early for you.
