    Default Garage sale victories!

We have been needing a new wheelbarrow for awhile now, but they are like $60 at the store. I couldn't bring myself to pay $60 for something i was going to put dirt in. So when I saw there were a ton of community sales today and 1 that had a wheelbarrow I knew I was going garage saling. I got my wheelbarrow for $5! Yay!

I have also been wanting a dehydrator. I have been saving my Swagbucks in hopes of earning enough to cover the cost of one on Amazon. Well, I found a great dehydrator, with book of recipes for $5! It sells for over $100 on Amazon. It was a great day!

Anyone else get great deals today?

    You did great!

Hubby walks the dogs every evening and he brings things home:

Wheelbarrow someone had put to the curb. It just needed air in the tire!

A nice table with a wood top that someone had put contact paper on. We took it off, sanded, stained and it is a beautiful table!

I got my dehydrator used on craigslist for $125. It is a 9 tray Excalibur and the guy threw in a bunch of leather drying sheets also.

I got a clothes drying rack at a garage sale yesterday for 50 cents - WOO HOO! I have socks, underwear and shorts drying on it now.

I won 2nd place! Made it to the top 4 finalists for the ultimate biker makeover!

I also got a new in the box Thomas Kinkade piece that will go in my gift box $1.00 and a beautiful set of stacking boxes (new) for $2.00 that will also go in my gift box. I can add some things to the boxes and they'll make a beautiful gift.

At the local thrift I found 2 nice milk glass electric lamps for $15.00. I collect milk glass. Also got a mirror and sconce set...old home interior which I'll resale. I'll make enough off it that I should cover the price of the milk glass lamps I bought.
