My finds....
I have been so busy with house shopping and now packing I am not around much. So I haven't posted much lately. So here are my most recent finds.
A week ago I hit my "fave" thrift store...Dh was with me and wouldn't even let me look at the books. I went back the next day because hard backs were .05 and paperbacks were .01 yes 1 cent. I found a few after looking for an hour
I got the following books for a nickel!!!
Your Golden Retriever
Garden Painting(its like making animals and stuff out of flower pots etc) for my mom
Your Pregnancy week by week for my ds
A cook book
and the a comedy type book that I can't think of the title right now
Freecycle 2 nights ago I got a haul!!! I only wanted a couple of items she had listed but agreed to take it and recycle what I didn't want. I got all sorts of stuff...stuffed animals some toys etc but heres what I kept!!!I am SOOOO excited!
A box full of Unopened Merle Norman eyeshadows, lipsticks, and blush
2 new face washes with make-up remover St Ives
a wall clock
a shoebox full of gift ribbon
a box of small ornanments for table top tree
a recipe box that goes with my cow/farm theme
a small photo storage box
a grocery bag FULL of heavy duty plastic "silver" wear
a sandwich baggy full of lil dolls and Babrbie babies
and
these "barbie" dolls for when my nieces come over with a bag of ribbons and material scraps that can be used as clothes. They are made by Mattel and look like Barbies but are shorter and the heads are bigger. They are not Bratz or My Scene Dolls. Can anyone tell me what they are because regular Barbie clothes don't fit and they are all naked!!! I've looked online but can't find them...

I have no idea what these dolls are, and would swear I've seen 'em all. If they're not stamped with a mftr's name like Mattel, chances are they're just generic barbies.
The clothes they're wearing in the pic are cute. Maybe they can just mix & match what they got. One of the things I did when I went thru my "barbie stage", was take a hairband, ya know the kinds made out stretchy fabric that they sell in the Dollar Tree? Well I used to cut them at the seams, (this made a "tube" style dress) than at the neckline and bottom, we would sew on lace, fake fur, etc. This literally costs next to nothing and we always had so much fun creating our own designs. Believe me, they'll love it, and especially so if you get creative and gather up bunches of different trims. Again costs almost nothing. Check the clearance bins at Joanne's.

Forgot to mention Congrats on your haul. The cosmetics sound awesome! I love Freecycle.
The books would've been something I went back for too!
I know you're still smiling

You might be able to get some help here:
http://www.dollreference.com/index.html
They have a forum. Maybe you can post a pic and get some info? They aren't familiar to me, but I wasn't a big doll collector as a kid. I think I had 2-3 Barbies, and they were all hand-me-downs from my sister.DH aka Mad Hen

The dolls look like the "We three friends" or "Wee 3 friends" series by mattel.
edited to add a link to ebay pic. Some look a little different in the pic though, so maybe older or newer.
