    Default Garage Sale for DD's Mission Trip A HUGE Success

    The church ladies got together to hold a garage sale for our mission team which is going to Haiti in September. We held it Saturday at a member's home, and...raised $1200!!!!!!!!! Isn't that terrific?

    Well, I can tell you, it was HOT out, but we made some really good deals to people who were willing to brave the heat (over 100 degrees)!

    The fun part was "shopping" when we were done. I got lots of school materials for my classroom!

    We've also held a carwash: $289; a dinner and pie auction: $1000; Krispy Kreme donut sale: $250. For a total of: $2739!
