    Thumbs up Best haul in a LONG time

    Friday
    Hit thrift stores with SIL she wanted to tell me her and my brother are expecting again I got the following things;

    Thift store 1

    Pair of lil slipper shoes black( been looking but can't find any my size;11)-like new 2.99
    Tank top for gym 1.99

    Salvation Army

    Zipper sweater 1.20
    Chadwick terry sweatsuit 2.40
    Brown slipper shoes-like new-4.00


    Saturday

    Received email from Freecycle I had responded to on Monday for gift bags. First 2 ppl flaked so I was next!!

    About 20 various sized gift bags-bday,christmas,babytiny to extra large sizes.

    Sunday
    So DH woke me up early to see if I wanted to go to the swap meet, our lil "date" thing we like to do. I agreed and off we went each with $20!! I spent $10 and look what I got:

    Vendor 1

    Brown Fleece socks-new w/tags $1

    Vendor 2

    sale of 3 items for $1 so I spent total $2
    Pair of lime green capris

    black fleece zipper sweatshirt

    vendor 3

    stated all stuff on table was free but we gave him $5

    Then I received a Freecycle email and someone posted that she was moving and had all sorts of stuff to just come and go thru it all. I went and got a bunch of stuff and really wanted more but I too am moving and don't need too much extra to move...lol

    Wow......I am totally impressed.

    Maybe people are starting to clean out and my luck will change too. Our freecycle is lousy.......CL is better.....even for the free stuff.
