Default Do you like my hat?

Ds(6) found this hat for $1 at the thrift store Friday. When we got home he put together this outfit from other thrift store finds. The boots were $3, the pants-$2. The shirt was off the Old Navy clearance rack the January before last. He's thrilled with his new hat and has worn it night and day since he bought it.

The only things he says he needs now are a hunting dog, a real tractor, and a farm. Don't think I'll be finding any of those at the thrift store- even in Missouri!

I think he's gotta be the "Envy of the Neighborhood"! That shot belongs on the cover of a magazine, agree? I'd try to send it in somehere, along with your little story. If not a magazine, than maybe your local paper. I'm willing to bet it would get posted. And the thrift story..... couldn't time it any better. All's you need is a catchy title for it.

I really think you should try it!!

Thanks everyone. He's outside digging in the dirt with his little brother- and still wearing the hat.

I hadn't thought of sending his picture to the paper!

That is adorable. I agree with sending it to a magazine. Try Country Living. Google country magazines, there are several but Country Living has a section(or they use to) for pics of kids and this would be perfect there.
