Default 5 cent children's book sale

Our local thrift store runs their children's books on sale for 5 cents every so often. This week was one of those sales, so I went in to see what they had. A local teacher must have donated a lot of textbooks, because I found quite a few math, history, reading, and other books we can use in our homeschool. This is some of what I found:

That is really neat. CONGRATS on the great find!

Can NEVER have too many books I say! (though my book shelves are saying that maybe they have enough)
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

I like to look for reading books that I know are used in various homeschool curriculums. When they are on sale like this I'll buy ones we don't need, but I know are used often. I resell them online to help with our school budget. Every little bit helps.

Excellent haul! I love buying books at thrift stores, too. It's how we've built our home library.

Excellent. I have never come across a 5 cent book sale. The 70ct. notebooks are 5 cent at Walmart this week. Also .25 glue sticks. I also found non-washable markers in bold and pastel on clearance for .75. They go w/ the 1cent crayons at office max. Crayola colored pencils are free w/ $15. purchase at kmart. Hope this helps your schooling. (thouhgt it might be worth a hijack). Our Big Lot had 5 subject notebooks for $2. Hard to find deals so far this year.
