I love it when this happens!
We dropped by a local church rummage sale today while running errands.
We found just want we had been looking for (plus some LOL)
I have been looking for a brown modern style button cardigan made of 100% cotton. Been thinking I might have to put it on the Christmas list or buy retail I will really need it before Christmas. Been drooling over them on line.
I found a J. Jill brown modern style button 100% cotton cardigan in my size. And it is so soft. Just what I wanted. Price $1.50 I looked on line and they have another one similar ( they call it their essential cardigan sweater) their price $56.00
My son has been wanting Character slippers ( or at lest fun ones) ever since he outgrew his alligator ones and passed them down to his sister. We wanted some for Christmas but we couldn't find ones his size (men's size) still haven't been able to find them at any store even on line. Today he found a pair at the rummage sale. He thought they were $2 and he was willing to pay that out of this own pocket for them. He loved them at much. When he checked out the lady said those are shoes 50 cents please! Very happy boy!

Great buys......good for you.
I just love rummage sales. Would rather go to those than garage sales. Here, they are always much bigger and lots nicer stuff. Have probably found my best buys at them.

Wow! Now that is great for both of you's, but I'm especially thrilled for your little guy! Sounds like he found that "thrill of thrift" we get over a bargain...lol! Give him a High-5 from me, and tell him he's now a "honorary member" of the FV

Absolutely wonderful!! Sure wish we had rummage sales here. You were meant to be there!!
