Smile My second hand shopping deal this week.

It was an awesome day shopping at Salvation Army and an equally awesome day shopping at the Kids consignment sale.

Found three long sleeve shirts $3.99 not a great price but that is the going price now. I needed - Really Needed Right Now- long sleeve shirts. My favorite was a Eddie Bauer prima cotton turtleneck, so soft. I had been looking at similar ones (LL beans and Lands end) and was thinking I might just have to buy one at full price. So that find made my day.

Then I found a Lands' End child twin flannel sheet set. The same set my son has now (he has had that set for 11 years). I was just thinking a week earlier how his current set was getting very thin and worn out and how sad my son was going to be when it was thrown out. I breathed a quick silent prayer that I would find something that would work for him with out breaking the bank. Apparently God answers some silly prayers too because volia, a week later when I head to Salvation Army, there it was the same set he had worn out but this one was in excellent condition for $4. Awesome.

Hubby had also been saying we needed some no slip stuff to put under the living room carpet. One that were big enough seemed outrageously expensive. So I kept putting it off. Found one yesterday at the Salvation Army for $3 Yes!

Then I hit the Children's twice a year congsignment sale. Daughter needed a Christmas Dress (wanted a super fancy one) a pair of flannel PJ ( her old ones are to small) This sale tend to be expensive but has great stuff. I found"
    1) a very fancy velvet and satin dress with shimmery sequins Christmas dress for $8.50. Just what daughter had asked for.
2)Very, very soft girl print flannel PJ for $5
3)and two super cool shirts for $3 each. The super cool shirts were Mini Boden brand, a brand from England I believe (I love there stuff very well made, let kid look like kids brand, and so soft but ultra expensive) So the two I bought for total of $6 was less than 1/10 of what I would have paid if I had bought them new.

All in all very happy with second hand shopping the week!

Some Needs supplied and a few wants too.

Sounds like you got some good stuff.
