Smile Didn't realize Daughter found such a good deal at Goodwill

My daughter wanted to check out the Goodwill. ( she hadn't been to it since it opened) She had to clean her room before she went. Fastest the room has ever been cleaned.

So she finds two new looking official Barbies ( 1 Barbie and 1 Ken) They were both jointed Barbies. Which she loves since they can bend their arms to hold the baby Barbies.

price 49cents each plus discount card (-10) so a total of 88 cents plus tax for both.

Then today I was in the Goodwill and found another regular not jointed Barbie it was priced $1.99

then at that Salvation Army they had Barbies (really and knock offs) priced at $3.49. Kens(And Gi Joes) were $3.99

I realized that she had gotten a good deal just didn't realize she got that good a deal.

The Barbies have been introduced in the her Barbie family. They are the aunt and uncle.

Did you know you can replace Barbie's head with Ken's, and that he looks especially fetching in the wedding gown (a sad testimony to my misspent youth )

What a great deal for her!! Hope she has lots of NORMAL Barbie fun with her finds!!!

    Question What is normal?

So far she has only played family with.

She did wish she had more than one Barbie with a pregnant belly. You know like the controversial pregnant Midge one. Where the baby can be inside the belly (before being born)

She took half a plastic Easter egg and made it the belly. It looks very nice and the baby can fit inside. Now she wants me to put some sort of tie on it so it stays on.

Normal Barbie fun does not include drawing pubic hair on them with sharpie markers like my brother did to mine.

My mommy bought me one at a garage sale. I loved that thing when I was a kid. I wonder if it is still at my mom's

I never had Ken... so I chopped off Barbie's hair and made her gay.

hopefully no one takes any offense to that, but hey, I'm just being honest :giggle:
