Thumbs up My thrift store deals :)

I hadn't been to the thrift store in a long time...since way before Christmas! Dh & I went tonight. I found:
    ~Kitchen Table Chemistry
    ~Brighter Vision Fraction Pizza game
~Columbia Vertex ski jacket for ds8
~Snap! A Book about Alligators and Crocodiles (Scholastic)
~[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Silver-Chronicles-Narnia-Full-Color-Collectors/dp/0064409457/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1263260469&sr=1-1"]The Silver Chair[/ame] - 6th Chronicles of Narnia book that I didn't find at the book sale I went to in November.
    ~[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Time-Cat-Remarkable-Journeys-Gareth/dp/0140378278"]Time Cat (book)[/ame]

Total spent $14.58, $8 of which was the Columbia coat!

Awesome finds on good quality items.

When I go I set my amount that I can spend at home and then only bring that amount in cash into the store with me. I leave the wallet in the car (hid of course). That way I am far more selective on what I get. I also, make myself get rid of something old when I buy something "new" as I am out of room!

Oh and no, I don't shop at Goodwill anymore.

Thanks y'all. This is actually the second Columbia coat I've found at Salvation Army (we don't have Goodwill here). I paid $8 for ds11's Columbia there last year! My sister also got my niece's Columbia coat from there too

I usually go in trying to spend $20 because the local grocery store prints out coupons for $5 off $20 at SA on the back of the grocery receipts. I keep a stash of them in my purse. I didn't make it to $20 this time so didn't get to use one of the coupons....

    You did great.

It is neat that your grocery store has coupons on the back for SA. That is quite handy.
