thrifting on Saturday
This past Saturday, I went out thrifting with my mom. Mom didn't find anything she couldn't pass up, but I bought $10 worth of very useful stuff!
At the Salvation Army Thrift Store:
~a black velvet vest w/ decorative buttons
At a sheltered workshop:
~tie for DS to wear when his class visits the state capitol
At a consignment store:
~a tweed skirt for myself
At Goodwill: nothing
At another consignment store:
~a fleece zippered jacket for DS

I love going to the thrift shops. It is like treasure hunting!
I try NOT to go on Saturday though. They are very busy then.
I will spend one day just going to thrift shops then another day just going to dollar stores......great fun!
