    Default Great finds yesterday!!

I have been finding some great deals at my local SA & the second hand store, I have been wanting a blender long before Christmas but I didn't want to spend the money , yesterday I went into the second hand store and there is a black Osterizer blender and it works 5.00 and it looks barely used, bought DH a Levi shirt 1.00

Then I go to SA and I find a light purple Columbia spring jacket 4.00 I noticed something on the collar and I show it to the woman working there and she say's I'll let it go for 1.00 so I'm like why not if the stain does not come out I'm only out 1.00.
(yep the stain did come out whaoo)
And I found a sterling silver necklace for .50 .
That was a good shopping day!!
DH's chemo has ended and his Radiation treatments end Mon May 14 yeah...!!

That is why it is so much fun to go to sa. I have been wanting a dehydrator and did not want to spend alot of money until I see if I like it. I got one that doesn't even look like it was used for $6.

I was happy to see this thread as I logged in excitedly wanting to tell someone about my find today. Went to Goodwill looking for a birthday present for my nephew, had $20 for that. Didn't find it at Goodwill but found my niece's Christmas present for $9 and I would have easily paid $20 for it if I saw it at Target on a whim. Her birthday present this year was also a Goodwill "still new in package" deal and she loved it.

I did end up finding my nephew a large hardback book he will love from Barnes & Noble. It was on clearance plus my oldest daughter had renewed my membership this year as a Christmas present to me, which then gave a discount that covered the tax. Only spent $15 out of the $20 I had planned to spend on my nephew.

Paying with cash at each store felt weird, haven't done that in a long time. Definitely made me aware of what I was purchasing.

Yah, I suck at this money stuff, I know. That's why I'm here.

Love second hand stores. UHHH maybe to much sometimes. Have to limit myself to when I can go sometimes. lol

Actually found a raincoat with hood for only $8. And it looks brand new! Grant it I prefer the $.50 bargains!

    Enjoy your bargains.

I 've been checking just about every other day for clothes at SA both DH and I have lost weight he has lost 27 pounds and I have lost 41 pounds finally just made into a size 10 so we have had to change out sizes frequently so I check a lot at SA and I am finding some really nice expensive clothes that if I bought new I could easily drop 500-600 dollars am only paying 5.00 to 20.00 brand names like Columbia,Eddie Bauer ,Gap, ANA , Apartment 9,Covington,LL Bean . Love to bargain shop .

Getting tired can not think and type at the same time, If I had to go out and buy these clothes all at once like I do at SA it would cost that much new .( the 500-600 for both of us)
