Default Gymboree at Goodwill for Little Miss -- Happy dance

Today I found Gymboree clothing in daughter's size (at least the new size that has growing room also) 1.79 each
There were so many to choose from about 20 Gymboree shirts and 10 leggings. So many to choose from it was like I was at Gymboree.

Little Miss loves Gymboree leggings (because they are all cotton and easy on her sensitive skin) so they are a staple in her wardrobe. A necessary staple so much so I'll pay full price if I have too. So I was very pleased to find them at the Goodwill. I chose two pair in solid colors ( red and pink) because solid colors match more things than prints.

Then on to shirts. There were so many I liked but I settled on two. A pink shirt with "diamond" sparkle in the shape of a star. She will love the bling. and the best find was the second shirt I picked. This one has a story.

A week or so ago Little Miss put on her favorite girly Gymboree shirt. She cried when I said it was to small and she couldn't wear ( it showed her tummy, the sleeves where to short, and it was tight) It was a pretty cream shirt with a ruffle and pink ribbon down the front.
I found that exact same shirt in two sizes bigger (the size I was looking for) Can you believe it?

I guess She sent up a prayer of "Please let me keep this shirt. I love it." and the same time I said "please help her realize she can wear that shirt anymore" I believe we received a nice answer.

So total two shirts and two leggings and plenty left at the Goodwill for some other girl/girls to find pleasure with.

Congrats on your finds! I bet Little Miss will be totally thrilled with her new clothes, especially her favorite shirt that is,once again, just her size.

Yes, she was thrilled and they all fit very nicely too. And at 1/10 the price (90 % off) the price of new at Gymboree, that was nice too.

It always amazes me what we find at the thrift stores. It is often just what we needed and often just what we were desiring too.

Congratulations on your great bargains, Imagine. I'll bet your little doll looks adorable in them.

I had a full tub plus a small closebasket full of my 4 yr old great-granddaughters outgrown clothes and also her highchair. I took them to a store called Once Upon A CHILD AND THEY GAVE ME 76$ FOR THEM. Plus if I took store credit I got another 20%. That came to a total of 91$. They have loads of gently used children's clothes so I went shopping right then and there. I got her 2 bags of really nice summer clothes and I still have some store credit left plus a 5$ gift cetificate and 20% off for my next visit. She is pretty well set for summer now. I baby sit her all the time and I like to have nice clothes here for her. Her Mom is going through a divorce, going to school and only working part time so I try to help out by buying her clothes when I can. Plus garage sales will be stsrting here soon so I will be picking up more stuff as she needs it and also buying clothes for next winter and putting them back for her. Gotta love those garage sales!

    Good Job Ohio

We are heading to the big city during spring break and will be stopping at Once Upon a Child ( if it is still open - they owner was trying to sell it last time I was there). We will be looking for specific things that we need.

Buddy - black pants and a white button down shirt

Little Miss -short Pj's and a pair or two of capris

I haven't done as well at making money at resale shops for two reasons. We don't have many clothes and I won't sell things that were given to us, must give them away (self imposed rule). So that doesn't leave much left to try and sell. Also if I'm only going to make a $1 from something I would prefer to pass it to a friend.

Great finds! I gave up on Gymboree. I never seem to find anything close to cheap even on the clearance racks in outlet malls. Perhaps I will try Goodwill.

Aaah, I remember window shopping at Gymboree many moons ago when my daughter was a tot. That was one of my favorite stores.

    Good job on the finds!

Oh thats great!! If they are in really good condition after she gets done you can resell on ebay. That brand sells very well.
