Default Another reason I love thrift stores!

I was going to stop at the book store. On a whim, I stopped at the local Salvation Army on the way to the book store. I needed to get books for dd and ds to read. We are all tired of the same old books. I got 44 books for $16.00!!! I can't wait to show dd the books. I only got one or two that ds would like. They had slim pickings on the books for his reading level. I wouldn't have been able to get more than 3 or 4 books at the book store for that price!

I think the lady at SA was thinking the same thing! They each have to read at least one book a night, Monday through Thursday for homework. My dd likes to read extra, so she will go through them fairly quickly! I was just thinking I have more in the pile for ds than I thought. I think the Berenstein Bear books might be hard for dd so ds will be reading those. It will be interesting to see the reaction they have to the books. Their dad got them today so I will have to give them the books tomorrow! I hope they are excited. My kids love thrift store finds. They get so excited when I show them the good bargains I get, especially when it is for them.
