Savers?
This is a new store to our area...can anyone tell me more about it? I looked at their website, but I'd rather hear from people who shop there.
I am excited to check it out when I get some free time

Our Savers is my favorite thrift store. It is set up by kind of clothes (shirt, sweater, skirt...) and most things are even sorted by color. The also have a section for material, housewares, shoes, infants, toys...
I like Savers best because their items are clearly marked with a price. They are also color coded for 1/2 off days and such. It still has the stinky over used of scented Tide smell that the other thrift stores have but it does look cleaner and brighter.

Our Savers is huge! For the most part I like it and have good luck finiding jeans there, but the prices can be high. Everything is well sorted and labeled...and no lack of employees if you need help. They keep it pretty clean. Lately (for several months) there has been road construction at the intersection where ours is...so I have avoided going.

We used to have one near us but I guess our neighborhood was too poor 'cause they moved about 10 miles up the road to a nicer part of town.
I used to like shopping there because unlike the other 2nd hand shops in this area it didn't stink and it was very well lit, like a supermarket. They were a little bit more expensive than other places, but they had a broader selection, being so big, and the clothes were clean (unlike other places which put dirty stuff out on the racks).Use it up, Wear it out,

I like our Saver's. I've had very good luck there. It's very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I don't find alot there for myself, but have very good luck for my youngest dd10 and dh.

We have Savers here. The clothes are cleaner and in better shape than the other thrift stores, plus they're sorted better.
When you donate to Savers here, they give you a blank receipt for the amount that was donated and a coupon for $3.00 off your next $10.00 purchase. Which comes in pretty handy.
Also, all of their electronics are located that you can plug them in and see if they actually work correctly.
Ours is quite large too.

I used to work for Savers for a short time and they have a great selection and I can find a ton there. Heck, my paycheck went there. lol. Downside is they are overpriced but the clothes seem nicer.
You can get the good deals when they run the color tags on sale and they have 99 cent days.

We even have a Savers here on Maui!! Agree with all that has been said - I think you need time to really check things out - have never found anything there, but will check back.
Please let us know how you like yours!!Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

I think Value Village is the Canadian sister of Savers. They are great! I like when they have their 50% off sales!

I never did make it out that day, but I have plans to go with my girls and parents in about an hour.
It's a pretty big store...took over a building that used to be Circuit City before they went belly up.
I'm hoping to finally have a decent thrift store in the area
