Default My deals of the weekend

Well money has been crazy tight with us. I am in desperate need of dress clothes and shoes for my job.(I have two pairs of pants that are acceptable to wear to work). So I knew we didn't have the money to buy anything new. So I want to a church rummage sale on Saturday and this what I got.

    10 pairs of dress pants
    3 pairs of everyday pants
5 pairs of dress shoes for me
    3 shirt for my DH
3 pairs of shoes of my DH
1 family board game(we are have a family game night now, so we don't go out and spend money)
    2 puzzles

    I spent $10 on everything!

I think I got a great deal. Did anyone else get any great deals this past weekend?

    Jenny

Wow! I can't believe you got everything for $10! I think its wonderful you found items that you needed for so little.

I had a trip to the thrift store & spent $6.50 over the weekend. I got 3 decorating books (all hard covers) for $1ea, a small framed print $3, Winnie the Pooh bank .25 & a votive candleholder .25.

I really enjoy the items I find at thrift stores, but the prices are better at rummage or yard sales. What deals you found!

    Awesome!

Just what you needed at a great price.

What game did you get? We have started family game night and I'm always on the look out for good games.

What great buys you got! Congrats!

I love rummage sales but we don't have very many of them here. I have found some great things at them for a super price.

My deal this weekend was not at a thrift store, but at Wal Mart of all places. While do my elderly dad's weekly shopping, I turned up the kitchen appliance aisle headed to checkout & lo & behold, what did I see but a brand new, never opened Kitchen Aid Mixer for $79.00! They must be discontinuing this model as the only difference in it & the $199.88 modes was instead of the model being a K45SS something or other, this one was a K4SS something or other. Doesn't have a breadhook, but I can get one of those.

~Fantastic deals Jenny! So glad you got what you needed.
I shop at a perpetual yard sale every year that benefits a church and the prices on clothes are unbelievably great. Love that sale!~

I'm glad you got such a deal Jenny. I wish we could get those kinds of deals around here, but they are very few & very far between.

    Thanks everyone!

imagine- We got the game Sorry- New never opened. We so far have about five board(all second hand) My mom told me that I could go up and get all the board games in her attic from our younger days. So we are going there this weekend.

Shp1055- Thats a great price on that Mixer!

I hope to find more rummage/church sales they are cheap then the second hand stores here on clothes... our GW is too expensive for me and the other store is kinda hard to find stuff in my size.
