My cook book finds........
I don't collect them but went to a library sale this weekend and seem to have found some gems!!
I just finished going through one......will have to go back through and mark all the ones I want to try.
Bought:
The Thrifty Cook --tasty budget recipes by the food editors of Farm Journal (I do like FJ cookbooks......have another one)
Bread Machine Magic ---139 recipes created for use in all types of bread machines.
Better Homes and Gardens Annual Recipes 2001 ---a huge hardcover book.
Haven't read the bread or BH&G yet...just glanced through them at the sale.
Cost ---2 hardcovers and 1 soft cover........$1.25 WOOHOO!!

Very nice! Both my mom and I are unable to go into a second hand store without finding an armload of cookbooks to take home...I think my mom finally sent some back, but I'm hanging on to mine!

I don't even look at them at the thrift store.......USUALLY.....as I don't need any more!! (and am not a 'collector'....to know value) but figured this aisle would keep me out of the mystery section.......WRONG!
I say........come on down!! Some of the FJ recipes are big enough I could feed your crew........a cookie recipe in there makes 8 dozen!!!
And I thought my choc. chip was bad at 5!!
