Thrift Store Chains
~Well I only know about Goodwill and Salvation Army, because we have them in our county. The thread about Savers(which I looked up and found none near me)got me thinking about how many chains there might be out there.
National, regional, or by state, do you know of any other chain thrift stores??~~Constance

I've heard others online mention Thrift Town
Thrift Town Thrift Stores - Visit A Clean, Bright, Organized Store Near You! (a few states; none near me)
I hope someone else will have more that are near me. I'd love to have more than one option.

I grew up with a "DAV" thrift store (Disabled American Veterans) where I lived.
I believe that is a national wide chain thrift store."Everyday as your walking down the street, everybody that you met has an original point of view" -Arthur PBS

For 'pure' thrift shops we have one called Value Village. Not sure how widespread it is....know it is all over Washington, not sure about Idaho or Oregon, etc.
It is big, but I have never been impressed with ANY of the prices and they have only gotten worse. The good thing about it is that if they get low on stock they will pay people to bring in things and you can find some unusual things needed for the house or garden in there.
The other one......and think it might only be local, not sure, is a thrift called Classy Rack..........really good quality stuff and they will even sort through the things when delivered and reject them if junk!
Along the line of grocery/dry goods we have Grocery Outlet....which I love. I know it is in Washington and Idaho and they are very different. I have to stop if I see one!! Usually great prices on unusual/gourmet cheeses.
And one called Big Lots---that must be big, since I see postings about it on here. Like it too but know your prices when you buy some of the dry goods in it.

We have Idaho Youth Ranch thrift stores all over ID :-) They are huge and have great pricing AND a warehouse/clearance center where stuff is priced by the pound....
St.Vincent Depaul, Salvation Army and Savers here too.....Oh, and Goodwill and Deseret (LDS) is also all over, I believe.Stinkbug
