Question What make your favorite thrift store your favorite?

~My favorite thrift store is very small and lean on clothes but has fabric and craft stuff, old costume jewelry(with cheap clip earrings!) and vintage items for my retro kitchen. And they have 50 and 75% off sales several times a year!
What's so great about your favorite?~

I'm hooked on Value Village. They have E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G! I always go to VV before I go anywhere else.

Well other than being in walking distance, it has a large selection of clothes, household items, electronics, etc. Also it is large and people are there all the time so the merchandise is always changing.

    My favorite is PAWS.

Good cause. Supports spay and neuter and the local cat coalition.

    All volunteer staffed. Always friendly.

    Great stuff. Great prices.

    Only quality clothes.

Lots of vintage and even antiques.

Well organized and everything is clean. One of the volunteers even launders the vintage linens.

    Can't beat the place!

I like a hole in the wall called Rescued Treasures. They recently cleaned it up. They get estate type stuff. Everything is always 1/2 off. I got like new French white round casserole dishes the other day 8 pieces $10. (like almost $100. new.). DD got a very high quality artists easel for $6.50.

I used to live close to a Salvation Army store that I really liked. Walking distance, small and clean, all the clothes were hung and arranged by colour and size, prices were great. Every week a different colour tag was marked down.

I haven't been in a good thrift store since we moved here. There was a Goodwill around the corner when we first came, the clothes were in terrible condition and outrageously priced, and there is a Value Village in the next town that charges more for used stuff than the regular stores charge for new.
