Very neat and interesting finds at Goodwill
1) I needed a throw blanket. I found one that matches the living room. It was a cotton woven throw blanket with pictures woven in them. The picture was my town. It had pictures of the historical buildings in town ( with the year they were built) including my church. cool find!
2) found a t shirt that had an interesting name of a diner. Then I remembered where I knew the name. It was a small roadside diner my Mom ate at with my Dad. Had the address on the shirt and everything. I told mom about it. She didn't even know the diner had t shirts. She ask me to pick it up for her (she paid me back) She thought that was a cool find.

Great treasurers!
And it always makes me wonder just who tossed them to begin with.......especially something like that. Those are historical type finds!

Hubby Loved the city throw blanket.
He isn't one to get to excited about my finds.
But this time....
I told him "I bought a throw at Goodwill because we needed one"
He nodded in agreement that we needed one.
Then I said "I found this one that matches the living room"
He said " Hey that does match perfectly"
Then I laid it out for him to see and he got excited.
I told him what committee had commissioned the blanket and he figured that blanket had been part of the theater renovation project (1929 theater restored and reopened).
So part of the part history and and an effect to make the theater living history again.
You would have tossed that. Of course I almost always say that about the "treasures" I find."Everyday as your walking down the street, everybody that you met has an original point of view" -Arthur PBS
