    Thumbs up 50% off at our SA today

    I just happened to stop in on my way home from taking dd to work. I had completely forgotten that today was 50% off EVERYTHING day. Good thing I stopped in!

    I spent $25 and got:

    I love our Salvation Army. They always have good stuff, it's always clean & bright in there, the staff is polite & helpful. Love it!!

    You just reminded me that our Rescue Mission was half off day today, for customer appreciation. I was going to check it out, but forgot to. There was a bag of yarn there I thought was interesting but no way was I paying $ 10 for it. $ 5 would have been good

    I hit paydirt at my first garage sale today, and spent my allowance all in the first half hour

    Yankeemom- great haul. Love to see what a book "junkie" you are. We fianlly had to stop keeping all of them for the sake of the floor joists. Kids should be surrounded by books growing up IMHO.
    Our S.A. has very little junk Traci. The S.A. is definately aiming at the middle class these days. Maybe revisit.
