    Default jars galore

    just had 8 cases of canning jars given to me as a friend didn't want them anymore as it was her late mothers and she didn't canso she wanted them gone so i was there at 8 am picking them up and she said theres twice that many in the basement she will give to me as soon as she gets to them-------whats ones trash is a treasure to another -can't wait to do some more canning

    Great treasure! You have a very nice friend to think of you.

    Our jars in the thrift shops are almost as much as buying them new....and you don't know how old they are in TS.

    just checked the all and the are all ball,mason and atlas and some ive never heard of all old -will know better after i wash and scald them

    update-- all the jars are in good shape they are mason,kerr,atlas and ball some look very old but no blue ones -darn- and all are quart small mouth
